Sony's PS Vita gets a launch date

Everyone outside of Japan is marking their calenders for February 22, 2012 after Sony confirmed on their PlayStation blog  that the PS Vita is finally on the way, the blog reads
"We are happy to share a piece of news that you have all been waiting for: PlayStation Vita will be available throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Australasia from 22nd February, 2012"

The PS Vita will retail for $349.95 for the WI-FI version and $449.95 for it's 3G counterpart here in Australia and is the most powerful handheld console ever produced, boasting a quad core ARM Cortex CPU as well as a quad core GPU. And if that doesn't mean anything to you than lets put it this way: Vita is a steroid hyped PlayStation 3 on wheels. Though the price tag is quite high, considering it's a new device and is almost half the price of the new iPhone 4S then id say it looks pretty inviting.

What do you think, to expensive? Or are you just to thrilled with finally being able too play Uncharted on the train?
